Billing
How billing works
Airfree Maps is usage-based: you pay for what you use, metered per request and reconciled to invoices in AUD. No surprises, and the marketing site always quotes the same rates as the billing engine.
- Metered usage
- Every billable request — tiles, static maps, geocoding, search, routing — is metered as it happens and attributed to your account.
- Included quota
- Each plan includes a monthly quota per capability. The Free tier sets the baseline; paid tiers multiply it (Starter ×5, Growth ×15, Scale ×60, Pro ×250).
- Overage & volume discounts
- Usage beyond your included quota is billed at the metered rate, with graduated discounts as monthly volume rises. Estimate it with the cost calculator.
- Invoicing
- Usage is reconciled to an invoice each cycle. Prices are in AUD; GST is applied where applicable and shown on the invoice.
- Billing cycle
- Plans bill monthly or annually (annual is ten months’ price — two months free). Usage overage is billed in arrears against the metered total.
- Who you contract with
- Airfree Maps is sold by Airfree Geospatial Pty Ltd (ABN 35 698 093 239). It is a separately-priced, separately-accounted product from the wider Airfree Geospatial platform.
Self-serve status
The Free plan is self-serve today. Paid plans are being opened for self-serve billing; until then, start on Free and talk to us to move up — your usage is metered from day one.
Prices are in AUD and exclude GST, which is shown at checkout where applicable. Usage is metered per request and reconciled to invoices.
